Teacher union unveils reform plan

Hartford, Conn. (WTNH – The state’s largest teacher union is proposing a faster way to get rid of poor teachers. It’s just one of many proposals aimed at the upcoming Education Reform General Assembly session that starts next month. These proposals include a push for all-day kindergarten, universal pre- kindergarten, something advocated by Governor Malloy, and a change in teacher tenure.
