Man handcuffed, removed from school board meeting
Duluth, Minn. (AP) — A usually subdued school board meeting in Duluth took an unlikely turn when a citizen was handcuffed and escorted from the building.
Board Chairman Tim Grover says the man was an outspoken opponent of a plan to improve and replace aging facilities and refused to leave the speaker’s podium.
Grover tells the Duluth News Tribune he asked a police officer to remove the speaker after he began to verbally attack him.
