Vietnam vets have ceremony Saturday downtown
Local chapters of the Vietnam Veterans of America will commemorate the 36th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War with a ceremony from 4-6 p.m. April 30 at Veterans Memorial Plaza, East Third Street and Rockwell Avenue, downtown.
The names of 418 Cuyahoga County men and women killed in the war will be read, followed by speeches, laying of wreaths and keynote speech by James. B. Cole, a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army, of Berea.
