MBA students have a reputation for being driven, confident, and motivated, which is sometimes translated as arrogant. Every once in a while, someone on the Bloomberg Businessweek Business Schools Forum posts a video or link that pokes fun at these qualities.

Most recently, chiqooG posted a list of the Top 6 fallacies of B School, which aims to take down business students a notch and offers some advice for remaining grounded, even in the Ivory Tower. One of the best lines is: Stick a fork in your eye every time you catch yourself dropping core competency and strategic positioning during a casual dinner conversation.

A willingness to laugh at ones self – and remain humble – is always welcoming. And many of the other forum participants have chimed in to add to the list of advice for nixing that arrogance and better understanding what business school should be all about.
