My dad will always have his big day

After being on time a year ago, I missed the alarm again.

Fathers day 2009, I simply lost track regarding that date of significance and failed to run my special column for my dad, and dads everywhere in the appropriate issue.

And so, with a large red marker in hand, I circled the date for 2010 so as to not forget making sure my tribute would be read in a timely fashion. It worked, but for this Fathers Day, I failed in my attempt to remain punctual in delivering my annual salute to these wonderful men.

Miami Ad School San Francisco Student Justin Peele’s Video Included in YouTube’s ‘Life in a Day’

On July 24, 2010, thousands of people uploaded videos to YouTube as part of “Life in a Day,” a project created to document on film a single day of life on earth.

One of those people was Miami Ad School San Francisco copywriting student Justin Peele, and his submission “Wallet Full of Dreams” was selected from the over 80,000 clips (and 4500 hours of footage) submitted.

The project, conceived by directors Ridley Scott and Kevin MacDonald, had its premier today and will be exhibited thoughout 2011. It is also an Official Selection for the 2011 Sundance Film Festival which begins tomorrow in Park City, Utah.
